Survivor Gabon: Earth's Last Eden

Survivor's 17th Season premiered last night. This season was named, Survivor Gabon: Earth's Last Eden. Gabon is located in the west central Africa & is truly earth's last eden. Ang ganda niya, sobrang breath-taking yung views, ma-aamaze ka and you would want to go there. Unlike the other seasons, yung shelter nila when they went to camp eh, ready made na, mas convenient ng konti pero as usual wala pa rin silang fire to start with. The two tribe names were "Kota" & "Fang". The two oldest survivor has to choose their first tribe members to keep up with Gabon's tradition of paying respect to the elderly.
The Kota tribe members were: Bob, Ace, Sugar, Marcus, Charlie, Paloma, Kelly, Jacquie & Corrine. The Fang tribe consist of Gillian, Crystal, Susie, Matty, Randy, Dan, GC, Ken & Michelle.
Exile Island is back with a twist, Dan was the first one chosen to go there. May dilemma sa Exile Island, you have to choose comfort or clue for the immunity idol. Dan chose the clue but did not find the immunity idol. Kota wins all immunity and reward challenges, so far & Fang has to vote two of their tribe members. First, Michelle their most negative player & Gillian the oldest na wala masyado nacontribute sa mga physical challenges. Will Kota continue their winning streak or Fang will be able to retaliate? Can't wait!

Extra: Jeff Probst won Best Reality Competition Host in this year's Primetime Emmy's, beating Heidi Klum(Project Runway) & Phil Keoghan(The Amazing Race) & I think Howie Mandel (Deal or No Deal).

Amazing Race Asia Season 3

I'm a huge fan of the Amazing Race (both the US and Asia!). I'm so excited cause Amazing Race US is premiering soon! I think August 29 or 30 in Asia. So, habang still anticipating for the premiere, AXN Asia has produced its Asian counterpart & it's in its third season and it premiered a week ago. Amazing Race Asia is getting better comparing it from first season. The second season was "by-far-as-of-this-moment my favorite". I'm still caught up sa second season, I love that season, it has all the elements & they just didn't go sa Asia they also went to Europe & Africa. Well given na yung nandun yung fave team ko... no questions needed siyempre... Marc & Rovilson, who unfortunately only came in third, pero won most legs in Amazing race history, so winner pa din! Geoff & Tisha

Enough of Marc & Rovilson. This season daw is the toughest so far, so.. we have to find out. Of course may representative din ang 'Pinas sa Season 3, Si Tisha Silang, 32 (Former Beauty Queen) & Geoff Rodriguez, 26 (Model).
In their premiere episode the country where they're in was in Thailand.

In one of the Detours, teams have to eat a few of Thailand's "specialty". It was bugs, maggots scorpions, roaches & insects that i dont even recognize, it's a whole bowl of nastiness. Pero its a part of the challenge. They also cleaned a double decker bus na literal na madumi. In a Road block, teams have a choice of either driving a buggy across 8km of dirt track, or pound rice and make rice balls (which is tough). Our reps ended up 2nd in this leg after the Thai team.
Well, sana this time our representatives wins. Siguro part na ng culture ng mga Pinoy to cheer and be proud for whatever competition na may representative tayo... so Go! Team Pinas! Good Luck!

Most overpayed celebs

Nicole Kidman was named the most overpaid celebrity in Hollywood in the second annual list of least bankable stars by U.S. magazine Forbes, taking the top slot from fellow Australian Russell Crowe.
Kidman's films were estimated to only earn $1 for every dollar the Oscar-winning actress was paid compared with $8 a year ago.

"The Invasion," a remake of the 1956 classic "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," even lost $2.68 for every dollar earned by

Kidman who was reportedly paid $17 million for her role.

"Despite winning an Oscar for her performance in 2002's "The Hours," Kidman has become the most overpaid celebrity in Hollywood," said Forbes, adding that her upcoming movie "Australia" could give her a boost.

Second in the list came Jennifer Garner, whose movies including "The Kingdom" and "Catch and Release" have underperformed at the box office. Her movies were calculated to

earn $3.60 for every $1 she was paid.

Kidman's ex-husband, Tom Cruise, came third in the list with a $4 return for every dollar he was paid, mostly because of the failure of last year's movie "Lions for Lambs." For every dollar the star earned the film returned only $1.88.

Forbes said the ranking was compiled by looking at a star's

past three movies and dividing their total earnings by the films' gross income to get the actor's payback figure.

Making up the top 10 of overpaid Hollywood celebrities were

Cameron Diaz, Jim Carrey, Nicolas Cage, Drew Barrymore, Will Ferrell and Cate Blanchett.

The actor whose bankability improved most over the past year was Crowe, who was ranked the most overpaid celebrity last

year when Kidman was in second place.

Last year, Forbes estimated the movie "Cinderella Man" earned $5 for every dollar that Crowe was paid.

But this year, he was the 18th best earner on a previously issued list of which actors were worth their paychecks, with a return of $6.88 for every dollar he earned.

This bump was attributed to last year's movie "American Gangster" with Denzel Washington, for which Crowe returned a healthy $10.80 for every dollar he was paid.

Project Runway Season 5 Episode 8

For this episode the contestants must create a look inspired by the fall collection of a fashion icon: Diane Von Furstenberg. Diane Von Furstenberg became famous for her beautiful and flattering wrapped dresses, that became her signature style. The inspiration for the challenge was from the 1930s & 1940s. The challenge was tough, creating the look for a certain amount of time and knowing you have to please the judges and one of the world's well-known and accomplished designers.

I love what Leanne made, its gorgeous, very simple, wearable and very classic.... She deserves to win this challenge.

I also liked what Kortos did. Inspired by the 30's and 40's with the modern twist.

The one with the rumor

I just saw this episode again yesterday. This is my favorite Friends episode, number one in my list. Apparently, Rachel was mean to Will (Brad) in Highschool and he and Ross co-founded the "I hate Rachel Green Club" and started a little rumor... It's hysterical! ha!ha!ha!
Brad is so good, he can do comedy, seriously guys...
It's so funny! I had tears from laughing the first time I saw this. Even though friends is over good thing there are still airings on cable tv.

This is one of the clip from that episode...

ENJOY and Laugh!
